BIONIC COMMANDO should be on Wii!

Being the gadget obsessive that I am, I have been paying close attention to CES (consumer electronics show) this year, and besides the curvy screen and the generally lacklustre showing, new videos of CAPCOM’s ‘Bionic Commando’ were shown. This game is currently coming to ps3, 360 & PC, but it strikes me as a [...]

In a Galaxy of its own.

Super Mario Galaxy has totally stormed Metacritic (www.metacritic.com), hurtling to a positively stratospheric score of 98, a single point behind the legendary benchmark Nintendo set with the mighty Ocarina of Time. Whats most surprising, is that it takes this position along with Tony Hawk’s Pro-skater 2, and Soul Caliber. Both excellent games, no doubt – [...]

I have always been a fan of the satirical voice acting in this game, much as I was of Killer 7, but if any video will convert the naysayers.. surely this is it. The game simply wouldn’t be the same bizarre violence-indulgent cultural cocaine otherwise!

DS breaks 50 MILLION

According to VGchartz.com Nintendo DS has sold a staggering 50.28 million units to date. Thats roughly the same as PSP, PS3, Wii and 360 sales combined! It’s insane. Wouldn’t it be great if we all lived in the same place? I guess it wouldn’t be a lot different to the cultural climate in Japan, I [...]

Project Zero (King story) TGS trailer

If you can get over the infantile aesthetic and the patronising narration – this game looks to be showing some interesting concepts, and certainly has promise. Word on the street is that its only around 30% into development after 6 months, and so there is plenty of time for visual polish etc.. I don’t know [...]

Here’s some TGS Nights footage I stumbled across recently, its certainly looking pretty and ‘dreamy’ of course. Personally, I’m concerned as to how the controls will end up, there are three obvious possibilities that seem likely having watched this:
1- The controls take some getting used to..
2- The guy playing sucks..
3- The controls suck.
I feel for [...]

A short, sweet, and suitably bizarre glimpse of No More Heroes.. It starts, like all good things, after a thoughtful sit on the shitter (obviously) ENJOY!

Resident Evil UC new TGS trailer

The more i see of this game the more it looks like it might actually be worth getting, i know its not a full RE title, but some of the clips in the trailers make it look like a nice reactions / hand-eye coordination based shooter, and it will be interesting to see how [...]

No More Heroes (freshest TGS vids in 1 !!)

Ok, it’s no secret that I’m highly anticipating this game – I mean the current banner is a less than subtle hint. Ever since completing Killer 7, i have craved another game with the same atmosphere, depth and insanty.. killer 7 was and still is, a totally fresh addictive game, involving bizarre/political storyline, gorgeous-gore and [...]

Smash Bros is ONLINE (as we’ve known since it was announced).

With the ‘confirmation’ that Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be online, I cant help but think how much of a stalwart this game needs to be for Nintendo. THERE IS SO MUCH resting on this title’s shoulders. Here’s my list of what I think this game has to set out to prove to gamer-kind…
1: Online [...]
