Since Nintendo didn’t show a great array of titles for the Wii at e3 it makes me wonder if they will be releasing any major titles until next august. Of course, this wont make spring completely stagnant for Nintendo since spring is when the MotionPlus will be released together with Wii Sport Resort, EA will probably also ship their promised Wii tennis game in spring as well. So enough things will be happening already with the motionplus on its own. And what makes me believe that there will actually be a slew of titles developed with the MotionPlus in mind come spring as well is because of the video that was released around e3 showcasing the simple tools that developers can use to implement the MotionPlus gesture system into their games.

EDIT: Right now there is definitely one game that stands out, MadWorld. I don’t think it’s my kind of game, but it just has a great style to it, and the developer is clever mentioning that they didn’t want to go for ir but instead use full accelerometer control together with the nunchuck because it was such a brutal game (accelerometer control lends itself better to the brutal actions you’ll perform in the game). I mean this will definitely be able to compete with titles like Gears of War in the category of extremely action packed games for hardcore gamers, which is pretty cool since the Wii hardware is so weak compared to 360.
