EMPIRE INTERACTIVE ANNOUNCES ANIMAL PARADISE 2 FOR NINTENDO DS

Gamers are set for a return to paradise with the next instalment of the Empire’s best selling series

Empire Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings, announced that Animal Paradise 2, the follow up to the massively successful Animal Paradise DS, is currently under development for the Nintendo DS. Animal Paradise 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor bringing a new level of exciting pet simulation fun to fans and newcomers to the series. Animal Paradise 2 will be published worldwide in the second quarter of 2009.

“Given the massive success of Animal Paradise in Europe and our recent announcement that we will be publishing Animal Paradise in the US, we’re very excited to be bringing Animal Paradise 2 to DS gamers across Europe.” said James Spice, Vice President of Marketing at Empire Interactive. “Animal Paradise 2 will build on the historical success of the franchise, featuring more animals, more interactivity and more fun than ever before.”

Animal Paradise 2 will feature an even greater variety of animals and a completely new game structure; here the emphasis is on developing and managing your burgeoning park and animals, with the aim of creating the greatest Animal Park in the world! A new task a reward system will see players unlocking new animals and areas, plus all new mini-games. Also set for inclusion is an encyclopaedia of animals the player has befriended, giving detailed information about each of the animals and their natural habitats. The game is due for release in the second quarter of 2009.
