N-C: Posts what are those - meh

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Sorry, about the lack of posts as of late as I am still recovering from that computer issue the other day. I am still installing, updating, and such. Outside of that very nasty excuse, I think the other part is posting burnout syndrome. Where one posts for several days and months and years eventually they will get tired of doing it as it is very repetitive and as you can tell the lack of writing with the posts shows how much energy I have for this site currently. However, the little voice in the back of mind says never give up, never stop, do what it takes. I would like to specially thank Outlaw for posting something the other day. I think it helped.

Anyhow, now that the drivel above was released please go out and buy the Zapper and the couple of games that support it and shoot the bajezus out of everything. Alternatively, if you do not have it yet get Super Mario Galaxy - The King of Games. Yeah, I do not have it yet.

Now if you will excuse me I will be eating pizza and shooting targets, terrorists, and zombies!

N-C: Wii Zapper is in the House

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Well, I just wanted to say that I have received my order of the Zapper, RE:UC, and Ghost Squad. I played it quite extensively last night to the Wii hours of the Morning - Get it? He He - below are images of the controller and the games which will either be not important to most readers or piss others off that can’t get a Zapper. Maybe I will get up enough nerve to write up some impressions or even a few reviews of the items I just got. Might even be Zapper Reviews and Normal control mapping reviews and which may or may not be better.

Wii’s are White Hot

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

The title is an understatement and many people still can’t find one. Intelligent tip find a far away store in small towns to get a Wii. The following blips are from an article from the Seattle Post - Intelligencer.

Nintendo Co. sold more Wii game consoles last week than in any week since the popular gadget launched in late 2006, but executives warned Tuesday that Wiis would be scarce through the end of the year.

Nintendo sold 350,000 last week, when many stores were closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, compared to 300,000 the previous week. The only time with higher sales was an eight-day period in late November 2006, when the Wii debuted and more than 600,000 units sold.

The company is on track to sell 17.5 million Wiis in the fiscal year ending March 31. Last fall, Nintendo executives predicted they would sell 14.5 million Wiis.

They were producing roughly 1.2 million units per month at the time.

It seems Reggie was doing some investigating at several nearby stores and Reggie had this to say.

“I couldn’t find a single Wii system on the shelves - literally as I was walking into a Wal-Mart at 11 a.m., someone was walking out with the last one,” Fils-Aime said in an interview at the company’s new office here. “Consumers are buying every game we can put into the system.”
